This road is heavily trafficked daily with both locals and tourists. Your best time to get a solid run is also when it is around 3AM PST. The area this route takes you into typically gets some weather so make sure to check it first and you probably want to keep your serious runs in the warm seasons only. There is the potential for wildlife on the way so be prepared to stop.
Downhill on this can get away from you. First timers are encouraged to travel in the uphill direction.
